Name: Hilary Brooke-Wavell
Gender: Female
Age: 33
Hometown: New York, NY
My Story: Having spent 9 years as Marketing Director at a large travel company, I decided to go it alone and start my own company. The road has been tough, waiting 6 months and spending $10,000 on a basic website. I have learnt to be inventive, and find ways to attract new clients without investing thousands. I would like to pass this knowledge on to you and enable you to run your own marketing operation for a fraction of the cost and time.

Secrets of Selling in a Recession

Wednesday March 4th, 2009

This may well be the worst financial mess we have seen in our small business’ lifetime. People are scared of losing their jobs, losing their savings and having no way to pay the bills. Attracting New Clients

Wednesday, January 14, 2009

This is a question I am asked a lot!! How do I attract new clients? There are two fundamental ways to start to look at this:

  1. 1)Who are your clients? Analyze your current clientele, how old are they? Where do they work? Where do they shop? What do they have in common? Where do they live?

  2. 2)Is there a need for my product or service? Analyze your product, market research - ask friends and coworkers, which products/services in your line have the highest sales? analyze the competition for price and service levels.
